He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kopischke and Anna Kopischke (Richter); his wife Irene Margaret Heltemes; his great grandchild Dalton Rousslang; his sons-in-law, Donald Pulju and Joseph Rousslang; and his siblings, Agusta Wittwer, Amelia Billmeier, Minnie Billmeier, Helen Benson, Delores Larson, Gladys Steneroden, Carl Jr., Edward, Alvin, Theodore, Herman, William and Arthur.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Kopischke (Roxann) of Eagle River, Alaska, Alan Kopischke (Shirley) of Ottertail, Minnesota, Rand Kopischke of Anchorage, Cheryl Ness (Larry) of Starbuck, Minnesota, Dianne Rousslang of Wadena, Minnesota and Laurie Kopischke-Pulju of Wadena, Minnesota; and his siblings, Eleanor Tigges of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Lester Kopischke of Bay City, Michigan.
