He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Metso; his son Mark; his parents, Russell Paulson and Mildred Paulson; and his siblings, Russell "Bud" Paulson, Clifford "Tiny" Paulson, Gordon Paulson, Isabelle Walker and Delores Johnson.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Larson of Kettle River; and his children, Sheryl Moe (Brad) of Breezy Point, Russell Paulson of Moose Lake, Cindy Fairchild (Tracy) of Aitkin and Sandra Strom (Tim) of Barnum. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
