He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stern and Allene Stern; and his brothers, Keith Stern and Jeff Stern. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Joshua Stern, Sarah Stern, Bethany Nelson (Jason), Benjamin Stern and Laura Stern; his grandchildren, Magdalena, Coralee and Josephine; and his brothers, Randy Stern (Robin), Joel Stern, David Stern (Manon) and Duane Stern (Stephanie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
