He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Baldwin and Luella Baldwin (Schafer); his wife Marlene Baldwin; his siblings, Stanley Baldwin and Shirley Baldwin; and his niece Elizabeth Baldwin.

He is survived by: his son Dr. Matthew Baldwin (Mira) of Lake Elmo, MN; his son-in-law Roger Walker of Minnetonka, MN; his grandchildren, Jonathan Baldwin of Fort Worth, TX, Daniella and Gabriella Baldwin (US Navy) of Pensacola, FL; his sister Judy Carlson; and his nephew Thomas Eckmann.
