With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Peter Lysfjord of Minnetonka, Minnesota, born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; his father John Lysfjord; his brother Tom Lysfjord; and his parents-in-law, Don and Juel Kelley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kari Lysfjord (John Murdoch) and Molly Kurzweg (Eric); his granddaughters, Ellie and Lauren Kurzweg; and his caregivers, Bintu, Princess, Frances, Nadia, Bendu, Asana and Divine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (mplsheart.org) or the Valley of Peace Kitchen Fund.
