She was predeceased by: her daughters, Sara and Sondra; her parents, Maynard Olson and Emma Olson of Mindoro, WI; and her siblings, Margery Steen, Carmen Kratz, Bruce Olson and Gary Olson.

She is survived by: her husband Knute Gilbertson; her children, Mark Gilbertson (Mary) of Maple Grove, MN and Ann Fitzgerald (Brian) of San Jose, CA; her grandchildren, Brittany Gilbertson, Brenton Gilbertson (Angela), Trey Fitzgerald and Jakobe Fitzgerald; her great grandchildren, Axel and Liliana Gilbertson; and her sister Carole Strittmater.
