It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harvey Ove Thompson of Minnetonka, Minnesota, born in Charlson, North Dakota, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Vick (Betty); his parents, Wilhelmina Thompson and Orville Thompson; his daughters, Joan Thompson (Drew Hamre) and Margaret Appelgren (Randy); his grandchildren, Justin Appelgren, Kristen Trippe (Ryan), Leah Johnson (Matt), Paul Hamre and Claire Stansberry (Tony); and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Miles Johnson and Elizabeth Trippe. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the USO, Oak Knoll Lutheran Church, or The Nature Conservancy.
