He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Butwinick and Elsie Butwinick. He is survived by: his wife Ricki Butwinick; his children, Rich Butwinick (Jill), Bob Butwinick (Judy), Ashley Hazelton and Betsy Butwin (Andy); his grandchildren, Charlie, Claire, Katie, Aaron, Rhys and Cameran; and his siblings, Ronna Sherman (Tom), Jim Butwinick (Joanne) and Mary Andler (Bill).

His kindness, empathy and concern for his patients made his brilliance as a physician even more endearing. Our friendship was a great source of joy and was based on mutual respect and our love for the same types of music. Connie will be missed dearly by his many friends and former patients.”
