He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Harrer and Marlys Harrer; and his brothers, Michael and John. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Harrer; his children, Donald Harrer, David Harrer and Melissa Harrer; his stepson Timothy Nelson; his siblings, Debra, Teresa, Cheryl, Barbara, Thomas and Tammy; and his sister-in-law Diane. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
