She was predeceased by: her former husband Gordon Carlson; and her parents, Lowell Bengtson and Mildred Bengtson. She is survived by: her daughter Heather Carlson Kehn (Chad); her grandchildren, Olivia and Odin; and her siblings, Karen Albert (John), Judith Wagoner (Ellis) and Reginald Bengtson. She is also survived by niece, nephews, other family and friends.
