The memory of John Verrel Zagaros (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Alice; his wife Rose; his son William; and his siblings, Donna, Patricia and Jerry.
He is survived by: his children, MaryEllen Burke (Stephen), Judith Faue (Terry), Robert (Linda), James (Sheryl) and Thomas (Michele); and his brother Ronald. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (1621 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Crystal Lake Cemetery (3816 Penn Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55412).
