He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnar Johnson and Katherine Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Arlene G Johnson (Oberg); his daughters, Karin M Jackson (Greg) of Golden and Sara K Christianson of Golden; his grandchildren, Annika, Erik Jackson and Eva; and his daughters, Zenia and Nissa Christianson. He is also survived by his wife and daughters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or to Church of the Epiphany.
