He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Nachtsheim and Viola Nachtsheim of Crystal, MN.; his brother Jack (Marla); his brother-in-law Gary Moore; and his parents-in-law, Thomas and Marie Fursman.
He is survived by: his wife Marie (Fursman); his daughters, Jenny Garcia (Anthony) and Amy Kim (Ben Dunbar); and his sister Nancy Moore (Moore).
Jim requested that any memorials in his name be donated to Demontreville Jesuit Retreat House, 8243 Demontreville Trail North, Lake Elmo, MN 55042, where he attended men's retreats for over 38 years.
