It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gilbertson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, born in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan and Loraine; and his siblings, Patricia and Tom. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Harlan Gilbertson (Lisa) and Tara Hershey (Don); his sisters, Susan Gilbertson and Laurel Siefert (Alan); his grandchildren, Angela Doughty (Jesse), Tara Radermacher (Chris Peterson), Nolan Gilbertson (Kelsey Graves), Berit Serle and Asher Serle; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Victoria, Lily, Levi, Chase, Piper, Sebastian, London and Vaeda; his wife MaryLou Patten; and his pets, Skye, Nigel and Fiona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID, a Celebration of Life gathering will be planned for Autumn 2021.
