He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Miller (Haider) and Paul Miller; his wife Pauline Josephine Urlacher (Jo); and his siblings, Joe Schlinger, Andrew Schlinger, Carl Miller, Julia Miller and Frona Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Fonda Porter (Phil) and Sharon Maurer (Gregory); his grandchildren, Kristine Maurer (David Kuhlmann), Brian Maurer, Steven Maurer, Samantha Daigneault (Carson Alexander Sayles) and Alexis Daigneault; and his great grandchild Joseph McCluskey.
