It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melford A. Fretham (Medford, Minnesota), who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Fretham and Gena Fretham (Loken); his granddaughter-in-law Kristy Fretham; his siblings, Ilene Fretham and Gordon Fretham (Jean); and his brother-in-law Dean Nolte.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Fretham of Medford; his children, Thomas Fretham (Barb Stowell) of Rosemount, Susan Gasner (Rick) of Medford, Sandra Finley (Pete Michaletz) of Owatonna and Debra Sisco (Rick) of Chadwick, MO; his grandchildren, Andy Fretham, Jennie Johnson (Jeff), Ashley Yoder (Nick), Adam Stowell (Katie), Noelle Harding, Ben Gasner (Emily Kniskern), Matt Gasner (Jill), Melinda Gasner, Kelly Jo Schwab (Joe), Tim Finley (Jamie), Jon Fisher, Angie Fisher, Guy Weagley, Nikki Sisco (Shane Berry), Tamara Loula (Brian) and Kayla Niswander (Kevin); his siblings, Ludwig Fretham (Chris), Ellsworth Fretham (Jayn), Clarice Krause (Richard), Helen Nolte and Orivlle Fretham (Gwen); and his sister-in-law Mary Fretham. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
