He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton "Tony" Ripka and Alma Ripka (Schwenke); his siblings, Robert Ripka, Larry Ripka, Joyce Weeks and Anna Finger; his siblings-in-law, Richard Finger, Ron Neubauer and Marilyn Ripka; and his nephew Brian Ripka.
He is survived by: his children, Jayleen Cook (Greg) of Glenville and Dale Ripka (Kathy) of Owatonna; and his siblings, Arthur Ripka (Mary), Gladys Mulari, Henry Ripka, Evelyn Neubauer, Shirley Ripka (Lou), Margaret Lerfold (Mike), Loretta Wencl (David) and Loraine Ripka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
