He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ferrin (Anderson); his children, Jon Ferrin (Pearl) and Bethany Simpson (Bob); his grandchildren, Zach Simpson (Cassie), Hanna Simpson, Curtis Ferrin and Luke Ferrin; his sisters, Ann Gruenhagen and Judy Clark (Douglas); and his sister-in-law Jean Ferrin.
