It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Oman (Madison, Minnesota), born in Dawson, Minnesota, who passed away on August 19, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans "Casper" and Ella Oman (Storlien); and his siblings, Harold, Engvold "Billie", Marvin, Dewey, Herb, Burdeen, Kenneth, Burt Lester, Erma Nelson, Margaret "Tootsie" Nelson, Charlotte "Dolly" Krugerud and Ellen "Babe" Buhr.
He is survived by: his spouse Harriet Beecher. He is also survived by his children and numerous nieces and nephews.
