It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Ackerman (Luverne, Minnesota), who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Ackerman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edd Kosters and Mary Kosters (Bartels); her husband Abram Ackerman (Bud); her daughter Henrietta Jackson (Paul); her grandson Stuart Jackson; and her siblings, Alan Kosters, Gerald Kosters, Hank Kosters, Grace Kroon, Irma Halverson and Phylis Bliss.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Mary Brown (Miles) of Luverne; her great grandchildren, Brenna Richters (Dylan) and Katie Richter (Seth) of Minneapolis; her brother Rod Kosters (Anna); and also, Sawyer, Zoe Singer (Zach), Thomas, Zachary, Liam Brown, Stella and Sadie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Valley Springs American Legion Auxiliary in Valley Springs, South Dakota or the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills, Minnesota.
