He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Overgaard; and his sister-in-law Emily Overgaard. He is survived by: his mother Alice "Mabel" Overgaard (Tofteland) of Luverne; his daughter April Kempen of Morrison; his grandsons, Aiden Kempen, Ethan Kempen and Colin Leuthold; and his siblings, Gary Overgaard of Magnolia, Marcia Johnsrud (Darrel) of Corcoran, Mark Overgaard (Amy) of Luverne and Loren Overgaard (Julie) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
