She was predeceased by: her parents, Arne Hoiland and Hilda Hoiland (Josal); her husband Oscar Helle; her son Steven Helle; and her sister Norma Gertz.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Kohn (Terry) of Wheaton, Sandra Klosterbuer (Steve) of Ellsworth and David Helle (Vicki) of Luverne; her grandchildren, Kelly Kohlmann (Kohn), Kyle Kohn, Greg Helle, Amy Lysne (Helle), Rachel Horsman (Helle), Katie Pedersen (Klosterbuer) and Casey Klosterbuer; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Mira Kohlmann, Sawyer, Alexis Helle, Allison, Owen, Madilyn Lysne, Ezra, Eli, Cullen and Camille Horsman; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Smith, Lona Klosterbuer, Bernice Gertz, Ileen Gertz and Wayne Gertz.
