It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Colleen Onnen Ostrem of Luverne, Minnesota, born in Rockwell City, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Gabriel and Mary Holt Gabriel; her daughter Laurie Jensen (Curt) of Slayton, MN; her husbands, Deane Onnen and Tait Ostrem; her children, Tracy Onnen and Claudia; her son-in-law Richard Ryner; her grandson-in-law Jay Schnoebelen; and her sister Opal Gabriel.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Susie Onnen of Nixa, MO; her grandchildren, Mitzi (Scott Wehner), Jamey (Wendy Onnen), Jeremy (Andrea Onnen), Becky Onnen, Kelly Schnoebelen, Corie (Renato Frassen), Peter Jensen (Samira Rockler) and Sarah (Logan Anderson); her grandchildren-in-law, Mary Jondrow, Jim Ostrem, Jenny, Richard Lock, Tim and Dawn Ostrem; her grandchildren, Fred Ostrem and Kim Feeman; and her siblings, Marge (Floyd Bihrer), Donna (Hugh Robinson) and Carl Gabriel of Potosi, MO.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, Tait's four children.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to Murray County Hospice.
