She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Luikens and Ardath Luikens (Meland); and her brother-in-law Bill Joanis. She is survived by: her husband Rick Benson; her sisters, Arlys Redden and Nancy Joanis; her children, Alex Benson (Alena), Nick Benson and Katie McCauley (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Hendrik Benson and Eliza McCauley. She is also survived by her kids graduate from college or her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Association for Woman in Radiology.
