He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; and his stepson Joe Mertes. He is survived by: his sons, Mike and Todd; his stepchildren, Mark Hesla (Faye), Paul Hesla, Jack Mertes and Jenna Mertes (Tim Motzko); his grandchildren, Anthonie (Heather), Brytanie (Max), Zachari (Gretta), Johnny, Elaina, Lauren and Olivia; his great grandchild Ruby; and his sister Cathy Samalaska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
