He is survived by: his wife Eileen Foley; his siblings, Helen Koch and Joe Nelson (Elaine); his sons, Jeff Nelson (Marianne), Scott Nelson (Anne) and Tim Nelson (Amy); his grandchildren, Christine McShane (Joseph), Jennifer Schwartz (Jon), Hannah Stafford (Matt), Grace Nelson, Patrick Nelson (Carly) and Jack Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Maddy, Max McShane, Willa Schwartz and Oakley Nelson.
