He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Heldberg and Alma Heldberg (Papke); his wife Lucille Jones; and his brothers, Quintin, Charles and William.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Heldberg (Laurie) of Le Sueur and Jane Wiese (Scott) of Le Sueur; his grandchildren, Nicki Somers (P. J.) and Cody Wiese; his stepgrandchildren, Ally Somers and Gage; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Robert Dodge (Ann), Kim Hernandez (Junior) and Ron Dodge; his brother Daryl Heldberg (Marva); his siblings-in-law, Wilbur Jones (Veryl) and Kathy Novotny (Marv); and his stepgreat-grandson Francisco Rey Hernandez.
