It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Hooker of Laporte, Minnesota, born in Menahga, Minnesota, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hooker and Zella Hooker (Kidd); and his brother Earl Hooker. He is survived by: his friend Wally; his wife Betty Hooker; his children, Glenda Krueger (Kim) and Doug Hooker (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Jenny Carriveau (Tim), Kraig Krueger (Toni), Taylor Hooker and Damean White. He is also survived by five greatgrandchildren.
