He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Overlie and Mabel Overlie (Nelson); his wife Arlene Overlie; his siblings, Elaine Rode (Arthur) and Arlyn Overlie; and his brother-in-law Obed Knudtson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Merlene Lieder (Paul) of Mahtomedi, MN, Denise Burfiend (Lawrence) of St. Paul, MN and Sharon Hahn (Martin) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Reverend Daniel Burfiend (Roseli), Matthew Lieder (Caroline), Joshua Lieder (Sarah) and Maria Grabner (Josh); his great grandchildren, Theodore, Samuel, Peter, Cory, Lydia, William, Aspen and Benjamin; and his siblings, Donald Overlie (Barb) of Lake Crystal, MN and Marian Knudtson of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
