He was predeceased by: his parents, James Berg and Anna Berg (Evenson); and his brothers, Harris and Virgil. He is survived by: his wife Carole Berg of Lake City; his children, Kirsten Berg of Wabasha and Benjamin Berg (Jill Gooselaw) of Crystal; his grandchildren, Olivia and Charles; and his sister Ruth Huston (Richard) of Green Valley, AZ..
