He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dieltz and Emma Dieltz (Buysse); his wife Jean Dieltz; and his siblings, Wayne Dieltz, Dale Dieltz and Lorraine Dieltz.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Dieltz (Lisa) of Lake City, MN, Scott Dieltz (Jessie) of Eagan, MN. and Jeff Dieltz of Big Lake, MN.; his grandchildren, Amanda Peterson (Luke), Brittany Pyzdrowski (Aaron), John Dieltz and Steven Dieltz (Allison); his great grandchildren, Ava Pyzdowski, Elsie Peterson, Brynlee Pyzdrowski and Arden Peterson; and his sister Veronica Moore.
