It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Robert Downie (Lake City, Minnesota), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Downie and Catharine Downie (Watt); his wife Mary Carpentier of Portal, ND.; and his sisters, Linda Thomas (Sam) and Lottie Holton.

He is survived by: his son Deacon Kevin Downie (Linda) of Pine Island, MN; his grandchildren, Heidi, Michael and Brian; his child Terry Oanes (Kyle) of Ettrick, WI; his grandsons, Ken and Keith; his child Gayle Beresford (Rex) of Curtis, WA; his grandchildren, Samuel, Stella, Josiah, Joanna and Jeremiah; his daughter Joni Bishop; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Luke, Anna, Isaiah and Jon.
