He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hoeft of Lake City; his brother Richard Holst (Sharon) of Red Wing; his nieces and nephews, Dale Holst (Mary) of Rosemount, Laurie Balow (David) of Lake City, James Holst (Lisa) of Lake City and Anita Atkinson (Colin) of Lake City; his grandchildren, William Holst, Michael Holst, Shannon Gates (Stuart), Brady Balow, Rachel Balow, Carissa Marking (Bradley), Amanda Roper (Travis), Lila Lynch (Patrick) and Cole Atkinson Alexa Atkinson; and his great grandchildren, Daniel, Isabelle, Hazel, Mya, Olivia, Myles and Beau.
