She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermaníus Márino Jónsson and Sigríður Guðmundsdóttir; her husband George Burawa; and her brothers, Ástráður Kristófer Hermaníusson, Oddgeir Kristinn Hermaníusson, Baldur Kristján Hermaníusson, Guðmundur Jóhannes Hermaníusson and Jón Gunnar Hermaníusson.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Burawa; and her granddaughter Indra Eydís Burawa.
