He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Carl and Clara Harteneck (Glander); his wife Doreen Olson; and his siblings, Melinda Hollihan, Loretta Cook and Arnold Harteneck.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Harteneck (Wendy) of South St, Craig Harteneck (Deb) of Lake City, Gary Harteneck of Lake City, Alan Harteneck (Patricia) of Red Wing and Lori Fitschen (Larry) of Lake City. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
