He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Sr. Anderson and Marion Anderson (Duncan); his wife Victoria Haugan; his sister Jean Meyer; and his grandmother Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Anderson (Tina) of Ave Maria, FL, Valerie Anderson Bradt (Phil) of Minneapolis, Alvin III Anderson (Wendy) of Waseca and Paula Plank (Mike) of Northfield; his grandchildren, Lori, Julie, Natalie, Holly, Emily, Brad, Matt and Megan; and his close friend Roberta "Bobbi" Atkins of Lake City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
