He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Pervisky and William Pervisky; his brother James Pervisky; his parents-in-law, Juanita and Neuton Michelsen; and his brother-in-law David Michelsen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Wendy Sue Hammes (August) and John Richard Pervisky (Jessica McCabe); his grandson Jasper John Pervisky; his brother Gerald Pervisky (Heidi); his sisters-in-law, Karen Pervisky and Kathy Michelsen; and also Jill McIntosh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
