He is survived by: his wife Melva of Sleepy Eye; his children, Brent Haala (Pam) of Kasson and Tim Haala of Eagan; his grandchildren, Alex Haala and Brianna Haala; his siblings, Delmar Haala (Dorothy) of Sleepy Eye, Lynn Haala of Sleepy Eye and Verna Wendinger (Leonard) of Sleepy Eye; and his siblings-in-law, DeeDee Braun (Jerry) of Eagan and Gerry Prescott (Julie) of Bloomington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
