He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jech and Elsie Jech (Boehm); his wife Mavis; and his siblings, Robert Jech, Kenny Jech, Edna Farmer, Mildred Sherwin and Lillian Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela K. Jech of Rochester, Douglas D. Jech of Sargeant, Rick A. Jech (Carol) of Rochester, Kathleen M. Struckmann (Phillip) of Kasson and Randall J. Jech of Waseca; his siblings, Clarence Jech of Elgin, Loren Jech of Chatfield and Leona "Beezie" Cambern of Fountain; his grandchildren, Jessica of Minneapolis, Matthew of Rochester, Samuel, Daniel of Rochester, Samantha, Aaron of Kasson and Taylor of Rochester; his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly and Melissa of Pine Island; and his great grandchild James of Rochester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jech, 85, most recently of Kasson died at his residence at Prairie Meadows Senior Living on Monday, October 8, 2018, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
