He is survived by: his children, Robert Nelson (Susanne) of Moorhead, MN, Becky Rude (Jerry) and Laurie Hougard (LeRoy); his grandchildren, Darin Nelson (Heather), Ryan Nelson (Suzy), Kimberly Savageau (Chris), Joshua Rude (Natalie), Kristen Jansen (Tom), Alissa Hormann (Noah), Micah Rude (Cassie), Erica Hougard, Peter Hougard (Jessica Holleman), Anthony Nelson, Jami Olson and Ashlee Anderson (Ryan); his brother Allan Nelson (Sharon) of West Fargo, ND; his sister-in-law Jean Somers of Maple Grove, MN; and also, Eva Bernard and Karlstad. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
