He was predeceased by: his son Allen Orville Larson; his wife Leona L. Larson; his son Allan Orville Larson; and his siblings, Fern Hamerel (Wendel), Norma Thompson (Dean), Lyla Johnson (Byron), Eugene, Lester, Donald and Dan Larson.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Larson of International Falls, Roland Larson (Shirley) of Mora, MN and Sandra Johnson (Brad) of Lake Suzy, Florida.; his siblings, Milo, Kay Larson of International Falls, Loretta Grothe of Austoria, OR and Linda Westeen of Leesville, LA; his sisters-in-law, Eileen Johnson and Darlene Johnson of Yakima, WA; his grandchildren, Jessica Heinrich (John) of Anoka, MN, Jordan Meer (Tim) of Champlin, MN, Jacob Larson of Mora, MN and Courtney Gentry (Brandon) of International Falls; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Jude, Reagan Heinrich, Lilly and Avaya Meer. He is also survived by family members in the extended family.
