With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Willard Ohlquist of International Falls, Minnesota, born in Badger, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2022 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Ohlquist and Myrtle Ohlquist (Bakken); his daughter Delores Christiansen; his wife Linda; his son Maurice Ohlquist Jr.; and his grandson Shawn Ohlquist.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Ohlquist (Marcia), Bruce Ohlquist (Debbie), Sandy Ohlquist, Noel "Tiger" Hoppe (Tina), George Anne Brandrick and Skip Ohlquist (Heidi); his sister Margaret Ann Ohlquist; and his grandchildren, Mandy Sears, Jesse Grotberg (Alayna), Chris Ohlquist, Jeremy Ohlquist (Chelsee), Ryan Ohlquist (Felaria), Maura Murray (Joe), Jenny Ohlquist, Tonya Bartsch (Jon), Traci Hoppe (Tyler McFarland), Trey Hoppe (Megan), Donald Ohlquist (Crystal), Robbie Brandrick and Mariah Taschuk. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson due in January; and numerous extended family and friends.
