He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rickert and Hulda Rickert; his daughters, Patricia Rickert and Lavonne Matheny; his grandson John Thomas Rickert; his parents-in-law, Albert and Martha Uecker (Klitzke); and his brothers, Harold (Violet Uecker), Arthur (Gladys Uecker) and Reynold Lofthus.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Rose (Uecker); his grandchildren, Dennis and Dale; his children, Lana Seltz (Jim) of Waconia, MN, Carol Dwinnell (Brett) of Hutchinson, MN, Dennis Rickert (Diane) of Hastings, MN and Dale Rickert (Janis) of Kansas City, MO; his son-in-law Larry Matheny (Karen) of Litchfield, MN; his sister Margaret Lofthus of St. Augustine, FL; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Uecker of Blair, WI. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
