He is survived by: his wife Marlene Hamblin; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Retzlaff of Minneapolis, MN, Chip Retzlaff (Mary) of Newport News, VA, Kimberly Nelson (Jeff) of Albert Lea, MN and Nichole Menk (Steve Butterfield) of Wood Lake, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Cassandra Retzlaff, Seifidin Retzlaff, John Retzlaff, Adam Nelson (Megan Lindley), Sydney Nelson (Sam Kahler), Lydia Johnson (Steven Enriquez) and Benjamin Menk; his great grandchild Canelo Enriquez; his siblings, Ruth Mathews, Francis Hamblin, Darrell Hamblin, Harold Hamblin (Violet), Josie Kales (Jerry), Bill Hamblin (Marilyn) and Ron Hamblin; his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Hamblin, Angie Rannow, Jan Bakken, Bea Goetsch (Dick), Rick Rannow (Linda), Chris Kalenberg (Jim), Ken Rannow (Jane) and Many; his parents-in-law, Henry and Dorothea Rannow; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Hoff (Roger), Helen Renstrom, Ray Rannow and Warren Bakken.
