He is survived by: his wife Sherrie; his children, Veronica Laitinen of International Falls, William, Jr. of Hoyt Lakes and Krista Marie Laitinen of Hoyt Lakes; his stepchildren, Amanda Peters, Tracy Peters, Nancy Peters, William Peters and Caralee Peters; his granddaughter Sherrie; his mother Katherine "Katy" Laitinen of Cook; his siblings, Trevor Rintala (Marie) of Virginia and Tylene Laitinen of Cook; his father Allen; his uncle John Sam; and his brother Victor Rintala. He is also survived by numerous brother and sisters-in-law; uncles, extended family, friends.
