He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mamie; his grandson Christopher; his great grandchildren, Heavenly and Eric; his siblings, Elinor, John, Ron and Jeanette; and his son-in-law Raymond Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; and his children, DeAnn Doty (Michael) of Oxford, FL, Connie Bauer of Virginia, John Mayer of Bozeman, MT, Jim Mayer of Virginia, Cindy Erickson (Bruce) of Virginia and Tracy Mayer of Champlin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
