It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Deiter of Howard Lake, Minnesota, born in Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Deiter and Malinda Deiter; his sister Marian West; his parents-in-law, Garfield and Jonnette Dokken; and his sister-in-law Gretchen Hellie.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Robin, William (Carol) and Jason (Sheri); and his grandchildren, Dana Deiter, Jeremiah Smith, Ellie Deiter, Chase Deiter, Sabrina Hill and Joseph Hill. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to Ridgeview Hospice or the music department at St. John's Lutheran Church of Howard Lake, MN.
