He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Zimmer and Donna Zimmer (Leupke); his sister Stacy; his brother-in-law Gary Purdie; his nephews, Christopher and Ryan Zimmer; and his uncles, Si Leupke and Roger Dahl.
He is survived by: his son Cody of Granite Falls, MN; his daughter-in-law Amber Knutson (Justin); his grandchildren, Jents, Avery and Jasper of Canby, MN.; his siblings, Terry Zimmer (Deb) of Echo, Kathy Purdie-Maas (Bob) of Mankato and Kristine Maiers (Tony) of Hutchinson; his nieces and nephews, Rachel Heinrich (Chad), Whitney Enestvedt (Chris), Alex, Kristy Paulson (Dave), Nicholas Purdie and Chase Maiers; and his aunts and uncles, Bill Zimmer (Delores), Ranae Dahl and Marlys Timm (Marvin). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
