She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin; her parents, George Pieper and Trientje Pieper; her brother Wendel Pieper (Betty); and her brothers-in-law, Glen Sandquist (Elsie), Harold Severson and Roger Kamann.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor, Paul Sandquist (Renee) of Eden Prairie, David Sandquist (Debra) of Kasota, Janet Jans (Brad) of Wayzata and Gary Sandquist (Kellie) of Sioux Falls; her grandson Jonathan Sandquist (Rachel); her children, Amy Sandquist (Janelle), Sarah Meuleners (Brian), Michelle Hecht (Tony), Katherine Sandquist, Alexandra Sandquist, Isaac and Peter Jans; her great grandchildren, Max and Reese Meuleners; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Severson and Mary Ann Kamann. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to be sent to the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army.
