She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lovell and Beatrice Lovell (Ditmeyer); her husband Art; her son Daryl; her son-in-law John Kepler; her siblings, Sylvia Erickson (Ervin), Donna Sundquist (Warren "Bud"), Daryl Lovell, Harold Lovell (Maxine), Walter "Bill" Lovell, Vernon Lovell (Alverna), Roland Lovell, Marie Eich and DeAnna Bahn; and her siblings-in-law, Matt Verdoes and Lucy Lovell.
She is survived by: her children, LaVerle Kepler of Rapid City, SD, Lyle Swan (Susan) of Centerville, OH and Leon Swan (Marcia) of Cambridge, WI; her grandchildren, Shona Olivier, Shane Olivier (Jen), Teresa Reitmair (Brad), Michael Swan and Alyssa Hoke (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Bryce and Ashley Reitmair; her siblings, Roger Lovell (Marie) of Jackson, MN, Minerva Verdoes of Mesa, AZ and Darwin Lovell of Storden, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lovell of Rimrock, AZ, Avril Lovell of Grass Valley, CA and Virgil Bahn of Pipestone, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Betty's name to the Alzheimer's Association, United Methodist Church in Slayton, or Hospice of Murray County in lieu of flowers.
